The past few months has flown by … With NSW State Surf Titles, National Kayaks and Aussie Surf Titles all wrapped up, seems like a blur of good times and plenty if action.

A93J0180State surf wrapped up with the Manly girls once again dominating, from Georgia Miller claiming the Double Ironwoman titles (19s and Opens) as well as the 19 and Open surf races plus medaling in absolutely everything she went in!

Then we have Mieke Kassulke who seriously goes around the cans as many times as she can, all because she loves racing and improves from race to race. Bronte Sloan smoking the 17 womens ski race, Rach Crerar, Eleanor Owen, and all the amazing efforts of our young girls giving it everything is what Surf Life Saving is all about, as well as the laughs under the tent!!

Manly finished a nail biting 2nd place by 5 points to a fast developing Newport Surfclub.

Onto the National kayak championships held at West Lakes in South Australia which also was the national Open team selection event.

Very happy with some solid racing and earning a berth on the team. Finished up with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in individual events (k1 1000m, 500m and 200m) behind Alana Nichols and Jo Brigden Jones, all gearing up for some exciting international races!!
