Manly Superstar Naomi Flood has once again dominated the field with her heroic performance taking out an impressive four Gold medals at the 2012 Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships on the Gold Coast this weekend. Flood, who has qualified for the London 2012 Olympics in Kayaking, continued her impressive form by winning the Open Womens Single Ski Championship, the Open Womens Double Ski Championship, the Open Womens Ski Relay Chapionship and the iconic Open Womens Taplin Relay Championship.

London bound Olympian Naomi Flood has spearheaded Manly to gold in the open women’s single ski relay at North Kirra today. Flood joined Candice Falzon and Sarah Knapman on the gold medal podium in the event only added to the program in 2009. Silver went to Northcliffe trio Liz Pluimers, Kristyl Smith and Courtney Hancock with North Burleigh’s Alyce Bennett, Sheree Merryful and Brodie Moir finishing in 3rd.

Two-time Olympian kayakers, Tate Smith and Jacob Clear, swimmer Meagen Nay and new Olympian Naomi Flood joined Ironman greats Trevor Hendy and Shannon Eckstein and Ironwomen Courtney Hancock and Liz Pluimers at today’s official press conference to launch the 2012 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships at Kurrawa Beach on the Gold Coast.
